AI Pitstop

A cognitive upskill to live and lead natively in an AI-mediated world.

3 sessions × 5 hours

For whom

Senior professionals who are:

01

leading strategic direction, but don't operationally manage the tech stack

02

from non-tech backgrounds, looking for a real AI upskill intervention, rather than chasing a heavyweight certificate with questionable learning

03

looking for a learning experience that is personalised, customised to their professional and personal context, and speaks in plain human language

What

First, what it is not, and what it is:

01

We will not chase prompt engineering, learn the latest models and features of an LLM platform, or learn about different tools and workflows. We won't do it because the development is very fluid, and a snapshot of today won't survive tomorrow.

02

We will go through a cognitive upskill: sharpening how you think, judge and decide when AI is part of the work, so you can handle more complex tasks and adapt to the changes AI brings to your work and daily life. You'll feel like an insider, not fazed by the technology.

03

We will go through hands-on exercises together, so you can handle the essential technical skills yourself.

What you will learn

01

Know the operating environment. Learn the foundational concepts and vocabulary, so you see the AI landscape clearly and call things by their right names.

02

Navigate with a plan. Build your own foresight for 2030 (or beyond), at work and in your personal life. No one can predict the future, least of all when it moves this fast. But you'll learn a method for building foresight whenever you need it, so change arrives as something you planned for, not a surprise.

03

Feel confident in asking questions and setting direction. Build prototypes of your own ideas: for work, for your personal life or for a real-world problem. It won't make you a technical expert. It will show you what can be done and how, so you can challenge briefs and lead your team with better questions.

04

Keep learning. Everyone is on a different journey, with a widely different context. We will set up your relevant AI news bulletin and your personal AI playbook, on repeat: a tool and a habit that keep you current long after the programme ends.

Why consider

AI arrives with a lot of fear: of job loss, of losing authenticity, of losing our own thinking, of falling behind as models keep changing.

Fear is a poor guide. Understanding is a better one. AI Pitstop gives you time to understand the landscape, test ideas of your own and develop a way to keep learning, so you meet AI with intent rather than having it happen to you.

Why you

PwC's 2026 AI Jobs Barometer found that new tasks in AI-exposed roles are 2.5 times more likely to require skills such as judgement, empathy and creativity. Your experience gives you a starting point. First-hand AI fluency helps you apply it to work that is changing.

You do not need to run the tech stack to be accountable for what AI changes. You may need to decide which ideas deserve investment, whether a piece of AI-assisted work is good enough, and where a human should remain in charge. Those are questions of judgement, not coding. And they are becoming more, not less, important.

Why now

AI use is no longer waiting for an organisational rollout. In Deloitte UK's 2026 survey of 25,000 workers, 63% said they had knowingly used generative AI for work. Among those using it, half had received no formal training, and the most common uses were still searching for information and drafting emails (Deloitte UK, GenAI Workforce Survey, 2026).

The leadership gap is just as visible. In a survey of more than 1,000 UK managers, 64% said senior leaders encouraged AI experimentation, but only 13% strongly agreed that those leaders actively used AI tools themselves. Just 12% felt very confident leading AI-enabled teams (Chartered Management Institute, Artificial Intelligence; Real Leadership, 2026).

I am Tanvir Siddiqui, a FTSE 100 corporate leader who has spent his career leading people and brands during periods of great change and uncertainty. I have led brands and businesses of £1bn+ turnover across 150+ countries, and taught myself to build with AI without a technical background.

How I conduct

3 sessions × 5 hours

AI Pitstop is a small, in-person AI programme for senior executives from non-technical backgrounds. Over three sessions (15 hours in total) at Chiswick Business Park, London, one-to-one or in a group of up to five.

Small by design. Time with Tanvir for every person, not a lecture to a room.
Your own work throughout. No generic exercises.
Laptops open from the first minute. Concepts are learned while doing, not presented in PowerPoint slides.
Designed for non-technical backgrounds. No coding.
Nothing confidential. An anonymised task works just as well.
